Your initial appointment usually will consist of a comprehensive examination, a full set of x-rays, review of your treatment options, and a regular professional dental cleaning. Should the regular cleaning not meet your clinical need, it will not be done then. Instead, we will reschedule you for the appropriate dental cleaning.

Should you need dental treatment, it may be possible to start it on the same day as the examination/consultation. However, a complex medical history and/or complex treatment plan may require a second appointment to provide further consultation, education, and treatment on another day.

For your first visit, please provide us with the following information and records before your appointment, as applicable:

  • Any recent legible high-resolution x-rays taken by a previous dentist
  • A list of medications you are presently taking
  • Any pre-visit medication such as antibiotics needed before your dental appointment
  • Dental benefit plan information (please call us for a list of information needed).

All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
